I thought I would post a new painting that I finished this week. It is a small part of a much larger painting that I have been working on for a year. The larger painting is about genetically modified food.
I found an acorn with it's cap still on at Junction this past summer when I was creating the much larger painting at the bottom....it's actually just drawn in with pencil on the large painting in the lower right hand corner. The larger painting is about man messing with our food supply creating modified foods. My question is: What happens when there is only one apple left?
We just have to eat the acorn. And those aren't nearly as tasty. ;)
Actually, since I have seen that big ol' thing in person, I think you should post more pics of it. (with more detail) So much tends to be lost, especially in this work, when you can't see all the small important features of it. Love your work... the new one too.
